However, Rice remained highly productive when active, handling 9.8 targets per game and finishing as a top-12 fantasy receiver in five of his eight appearances in 2025. As Patrick Mahomes' primary target, and with an 8.0 RAC that leads all qualified receivers over the last three seasons, Rice is positioned for a WR1 role if Mahomes (recovering from ACL surgery) is ready early in the season as anticipated.
